If your swim has not imported automatically from Garmin Connect, first ensure that you have Auto-Import enabled by going to the Linked Accounts page, scrolling down to Garmin Connect and check that 'Auto public new swims' is checked.
If you have checked this and it is enabled you can search for activities to import from Garmin Connect, to do this:
From the main website:
- Go to profile page
- Choose 'Import Swims'
- Select 'Import from Garmin'
From the mobile app:
- Select the main menu
- Choose 'Import Swims'
- Choose 'Sync Your Garmin Connect Account'
Note that Garmin will only allow you to search the same date range once, if you wish to search an overlapping date range again you will need to Disconnect and Connect again.
If you are still unable to import your swim you can log into your Garmin Connect account via a computer and choose to download the activity as a .FIT file (see our other article on downloading a .FIT file from Garmin Connect). You can then manually import this file into SWIMTAG using the 'Import .FIT File' option.
